Introducing, BLAST Rising
BLAST Rising is a new tournament from BLAST, focused on teams that are the ones to watch, ranked over #25 and beyond. Taking place over two weeks from 4 to 22 May, the online tournament will feature some of the most interesting and talented teams from across Europe.
The 16 invited teams will be revealed by 28th April. The tournament will have 48 BO1 and seven BO3 matches (55 matches and approximately 70 hours of action) with the prize pool standing at €30,000 (EUR).
Produced by leading esports company Fantasyexpo, the first tournament is part of BLAST’s commitment to the wider esports ecosystem. Based on the first tournament, BLAST will work with partners to determine future similar events around the world and as part of the exciting BLAST calendar.
Broadcast on Twitch BLASTtv, BLAST Rising aims to support the CS:GO ecosystem by giving more teams the chance to play, win and be a part of the BLAST family.

BLAST Rising completes three months of high quality esports entertainment from BLAST. With BLAST Premier qualifying taking place across the Nordics, Iberia and CIS regions, BLAST Rising and then BLAST Premier Spring Showdown and BLAST Premier Spring Final tournaments.
